In this episode, Bob and Seth share further about John Chau, a friend of Seth’s who was martyred on North Sentinel Island.  They continue to ask the question, “What kind of person is willing to risk and give their life for the sake of Jesus?”

Today you will hear stories from Seth about back country hiking with John in the North Cascades.

John was a person who:

  • saw God in all of creation.
  • had a big faith because he knew he had a big God!
  • enjoyed and studied creation so he could be more effective in his mission field.

Do you have an awe for God and His creation that moves you to action?  This week take 5 to 10 minutes to gaze at the clouds or the starry night sky.  Ask God for a fresh revelation of how big He is.

Is your God big enough that you are willing to give your life for Him?

Bob Swank

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
