Today Christian and I take a final look at the miraculous events that surrounded the birth of Jesus.

A group of magi come from the east because they have seen a star, signifying the birth of a Jewish king, and have come to worship him.  Over 500 years earlier Daniel and the Jewish people were in exile in Babylon.  King Nebuchadnezzar made Daniel chief of the (magi) magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.  Daniel was a prophet who spoke of the Messiah and His eternal Kingdom.  Could these magi be descendants of the men that Daniel led?

Upon arriving in Jerusalem the magi look for direction from King Herod.   Unfortunately, they must not have had any idea that Herod was a tyrant who was paranoid about others and killed anyone he thought was not loyal to his rule.

Join us to gain greater insights into how God worked supernaturally through the wise men, kept them and Jesus and His parents safe, and met their practical needs.

Then read Matthew 2:1-12 and ask the Holy Spirit for further revelation.

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
