Last week Joe shared how he encountered Jesus.  Joe shared that his life before Jesus was really rough, but Jesus changed everything!

As Joe and his wife Erin entered marriage and parenting they didn’t have a Biblical foundation.  His view was black and white.  His wife’s was different.  There was a lot of conflict with that.   And to make things more challenging, Joe says that up until six years after he gave his life to Jesus he didn’t have a Biblical view of manhood.

Watch the video and hear how God not only changed Joe’s perspective on manhood, but his parenting, his marriage, and serving others as well.  You will be encouraged and challenged to keep saying yes to Jesus.

One key part of Joe’s journey has been his intentionality with being in community.  We as men need other men in our lives.  Our sons and daughters need to see us model interdependence with others.  If you don’t have other believers in your life ask God to show you who to take a step towards this week.

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
