Jump in with us today as we talk with John Markman about Jesus and the impact He has had on John’s life.

John’s parents were hippies who gave their lives to Jesus in 1979 at a revival meeting.  Then they moved to get away from drugs.  As a little boy John remembers asking others if they knew Jesus and using his wordless color book to share the plan of salvation with them.

Though John’s dad said yes to Jesus he was an alcoholic and didn’t discover freedom.  And then John’s dad left when he was seven or eight.  The abandonment and rejection that John experienced flooded him with a longing for acceptance that led to poor life choices.

Watch the video to hear when and how John knew He was loved by God and decided to run hard after Jesus.

If you are experiencing pain and a longing and desire for relief and wholeness, make sure you run to Jesus this week!  Don’t run to something else.  Seek Jesus.  Go after Him!  He is worth it.

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
