Steve and Bob continue the conversation about how grace works post salvation.

We continue to address the following questions:

  • How does grace work in our lives on a daily basis, in addition to forgiveness of sin?
  • Does grace work to help us avoid sin, or to become like Jesus?
  • Is grace connected to obedience in scripture?

Grace is the dynamic force or power given to us by God through which we have the desire and ability to do God’s will.  One of the main parts of God’s will is that He desires for us to become like Jesus.

Grace can show up in so many forms:  as physical strength, a gift of the Spirit, a new way of seeing things, or an attitude of the heart to name a few.  It is the favor of God operating in our lives.

We encourage you to search the scriptures and see how God defines grace.  In addition, invite the grace of God to work in you in practical ways.

Bob Swank

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
