Life is not about “my” truth and “your” truth. We all submit to The Truth. Today Steve uses a simple illustration to talk about our frame of reference. From there we wrestle with the reality that our frame of reference must grow and change as we walk in the light with Jesus.

The Bible says in Luke 12:48 “To whom much is given much will be required.” Yet the benefits that come to us with increased light far outweigh the responsibility associated with it. Sometimes God’s light compels us to unlearn some things too. This is more difficult when our security is in what we know instead of who we know.

In this episode we will discuss:

  • how our frame of reference should always be expanding.
  • light = responsibility.
  • the importance of unlearning.
  • how the learning zone can be uncomfortable.

About 15 years ago our heavenly Father began encouraging me in my role as His son and out of that in my role as a father, both biologically and spiritually. Through multiple encounters on my journey God has revealed His heart as my Father and affirmed my sonship in Him. Out of this has come His call to fully embrace who He has created me to be as a father and to share that with others.
