Following Jesus as Lord is a lifestyle. We all live lives of choice. God’s design is that all of the decisions in our life would flow from a supreme choice. Our supreme choice is deciding the ultimate intention of our lives. This decision is made in the secret place of the heart.
How does this supreme choice flow out into our subordinate and simple choices? What is the day to day expression of that?
- Praying for a fresh revelation of God’s value.
- Obeying John 8:31-32 and continuing in the Word of Jesus. One way we do this is by saturating ourselves in the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels. As we do so, we should always be looking for practical application.
- Look at and learn from the lives of others who are following Jesus.
- Follow Jesus as Lord with others.
- Don’t dabble, be all in!
